MASSAGE THE UNDER-EYE AREA –

With your Ring finger gently press under the eye starting from inside to outside corner, one point at a time. This will help drain the lymphatic fluid which maybe accumulated there.

DRINK PLENTY OF WATER –

We need to keep our body well hydrated; it reduces chances of water retention that can cause your under-eye area and other parts of your body to swell. Water will help flush toxins out of our body. The EASIEST way to get rid of puffy eyes is to drink PLENTY OF WATER.

COLD SPOON TECHNIQUE

This is an instant simple home remedy which is very effective.

Chill a couple of metal spoons in your refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes.

Hold the rounded portion of one of the cold spoons against your eye for a few minutes until the spoon is warm. When it becomes warms replace it with another cold one from the refrigerator.

This helps the under-eye area relax and reduce the puffiness.

TEA BAGS –

Make eye pads using either black tea or green tea bags soaked in warm water.

Lie down, put the tea bags over your eyelids and cover them with a soft cloth.

Leave them in place for 10 to 15 minutes.

Tea bags can help soothe puffy eyes and help reduce swelling around the eyes.

CUCUMBERS AND POTATOES –

Chilled cucumbers are very good for treating puffy eyes. This also helps to get rid of wrinkles and dark circles around our eyes.

Cut a cucumber into thick slices and chill it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.

Place the cold slices on your eyelids for about 10 minutes or until they become warm.

Take a square piece of gauze, put some grated potato on it. Place it on your closed eyelids for about 10 minutes. This helps not only in reducing the puffiness but also in erasing the dark circles.
